Thank you all for showing up to support our friends at Lakeview Centennial for their send off parade. I appreciate your commitment, even with challenging weather.

We have the Lewisville Drumline Contest this Saturday!

This week we will pass out Concert Percussion Ensemble, and the Winter Concert music. There will also be a lot of work on our solos.

Below is the weekly overview for the upcoming week.

Cycle 2, Week 3 (B Week) Nov. 4-10

Monday
- Drumline Rehearsal from 3:30-5:30
Tuesday
- No School
Wednesday
- Jazz Band Rehearsal - Drum set and percussion sectional from 3:30-5:00
Thursday
- Final Drumline Rehearsal/Recording Session from 3:30-5:30
  - Please wear “Drumline Contest” attire
Friday (B Day)
- Game at South Garland from 3:15-10:30 at HBJ Stadium
Saturday
- Lewisville Drumline Invitational from 9am-6pm
Sunday
- Free

Football Game: South Garland

Drumline Contest Attire

This week, please plan to wear our drumline contest attire for the recording session, football game and Lewisville Drumline Contest

Shirt - Wear the drumline jersey with a green or black shirt underneath. Short Sleeves for the Thursday Rehearsal and Lewisville Drumline Contest. Students may wear long sleeves underneath the jersey for the football game.
Pants - Wear All Black Athletic Pants. Please do not have logos larger than a few inches in size, no stripes, and no cargo style pockets.
Shoes - All Black Sneakers. Students may wear Drill Masters if they do not have all black sneakers.

Drumline Jersey Order

Please make payments for jerseys this week. Pay for as much as you can when you can, at least one payment each month.

Please make payments for jersey’s through the following process:

1) Each jersey is $55. You can provide payment in 1 payment of the full amount owed, 2 payments ($30 and $25 for one jersey), or 3 equal payments over three months.

2) Provide payments to the band boosters. Click HERE for instructions and different payment options.

3) If paying digitally, include a note that the payment is for jerseys and the student’s name. Send a screenshot with the payment confirmation to ncollins@garlandisd.net

4) Please pay for what you can as soon as you can. All jerseys should be paid in full before Friday, November 22.

According to my records, only one student has provided full payment for their jersey. Please make a payment this week.
