The Update:

Good afternoon Naaman Forest Band Community. We are looking forward to a wonderful Naaman Spring Concert this Wednesday and the Spring Trip this week. As we approach the end of this cycle, turn all your assignments in so that you pass all your classes.

Join us in celebrating your Jazz band and Winterguard. These two groups competed in the GISD Jazz Festival and NTCA Novice Championship this past weekend. Naaman Forest Jazz Ensemble received first-division ratings from all three Judges. The Naaman Forest Winterguard placed 6th out of 11 groups. Job well done everyone! We are so proud of the dedication and the ownership you have put in for the continual improvements of our program.

Students, get excited for our first-ever NFRB PRE-CONCERT NOODLE EXCHANGE! Bring a cup of instant noodles to exchange with each other. Additionally, please bring a bottle of water and an eating utensil of your choice.

PLEASE PAY YOUR BAND FEES!!!!

SPRING TRIP PAYMENT: Total of $250 should have been paid by Friday, February 7th! They are past due!

Cash payments and checks are accepted. Checks need to be made Payable to Naaman Forest Band, NOT the Band Boosters.

Parents,

Reminder that the Remainder of our $200 band fee is due by band Camp 7/29/24

We are able to take these fees in person via check (Payable to Naaman Forest Band) or Cash.

For those who were able to pay in full in advanced, Thank You. Your expeditious payment allows us to provide more masterclass services at the beginning of the school year.

Join the fun and be a part of the first ever Band Noodle Exchange. It’ll run from 4-5pm on Wednesday, prior to our concert.

- Bring a cup of instant noodles/ramen, bottle of water and any preference of utensils

- Exchange your instant noodles with a friend or add to the shared pile and pick another of your choice.

- Mr. Collins and Mr. Choi will supply water kettles to heat up water.

Fundraising:

Your Secret mission, if you choose to accept:

  • Get a teacher to communicate to us that you are doing/behaving well in their class.

  • It must happen organically, you cannot ask them to communicate to us nor you cannot tell them your secret mission.

  • If you are the first three, Mr. Choi will get you a bag of chips of your choice.
